I'm a complete N00b to the octave thing
i inherited it from a mate.
after i was supposed to give it back. forgot to. then he went to live in AUSTRALIA.
what is an octave?
& what does the octave OS-2 pedal do.
is it supposed to make it sound like a bass?

i can sense you are all killing yourselfs at the moment with my sheer stupidity.
please help
cheers x

my guitar teacher lent it to me a few days ago! the knob in the middle is how loud you want the original note to be. the one on the right is how loud you want the 1st octave down to be, and the one on the left is how loud you want the 2nd octave down to be. it's an awesome pedal but it sounds like crap when you play a chord.

^cuz it isn't polyphonic. If you want a tom morello sound or something like that get a pitch shifter, like the Digitech Whammy.

If you don't want it to distort, get a pitch shifter, like the boss one.

yeah i kinda gathered when you play chords it just sounds like the amp is about to curl up & die.

what is an octave. is it the same note just higher up the fret board?
