I'm guessing the 15X is a newer model as the 15 isn't available everywhere. Which would the pros at UG say is better? Does newer = better in this situation?

And are there any better alternatives in the $70-$100 price range?

Thanks in advance.

THEY BOTH SUCK ASS!!!

Don't get them.

Go for a microcube.

The reason people like the Roland Cube series is because it has pretty decent amp modeling and effects for the price.

The Cube 15 should not be called a "Cube" because it DOES NOT HAVE AMP MODELING.

It should be called Roland 15 watt Boringblandbox.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

Roland Microcube or Vox DA5.

The Vox AD15 is decent for the price.

Huh, I thought a portable amp would be gimmicky, and didn't think they'd actually make them more quality. What about the Roland Cube 20X?

@FacingUsAll : i think that was pretty clear...anyway the 15x is cheaper than the Micro so that says a lot.
So the right question is...which is better : Micro Cube or 20x ?
