So yeah, I can't talk to my mom for 5 min without getting angry, my dad is a bit better but overall I really can't stand my parents, I mean I love them like every child should but sometimes I just feel like hitting a wall, I really can't wait for college, to live away from home in a dorm........are you psyched for college as much as I am?
#2
Hell yeah. My parents are paying for my schooling, and they would want me to study in Europe, which I love. It'll be great.
#3
Meh. Hopefully itll be okay. But Im enjoying the time I have right now. Not as much responcibility.

I have to work for all of my college, I have to pay for everything... Blergh...
So I'm not really looking forward to it, but if I can go to where I want to, I'd be looking forward to the lifestyle... Moving back to my childhood hometown, notorious for it's culture and campus life.

Well, university, but yes. I've wanted to go to university since I was like, 4.

Really, it's quite gutting that we'll all be dead by the time the earth is entirely underwater because I really want to stick your head underwater while standing on Everest and say "if sea levels aren't rising, HOW COME YOU'RE DYING?!"

I'm about ready to get out, too. I went for a spend-the-night at my #1 school where I was already accepted, and I love it so much. I can't wait!

it's pretty sweet, and (in most cases) strengthens the relationship between you and your parents/siblings.

I'm pretty excited about going to our UK version of college. It's basically school, but with only around five subjects you study. You don't stay there or anything, but it's gonna be fun, since I'm the only one out of my friends going there so I'll be having to meet new people.
The will to neither strive nor cry,
The power to feel with others give.
Calm, calm me more; nor let me die
Before I have begun to live.

Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

My sister goes to school in Madison, and she loves it. Are you going to UW or somewhere else? (I'm in Oconomowoc which is like 30 minutes away, so I know the area)

I'm totally excited about college, but I really know I'm gonna miss all of my friends. A lot of them are younger so it will be sad to be leaving. At the same time I can't wait to go. I'm either going to University of Minnesota in downtown Minneapolis or DePaul University in downtown Chicago so I plan on livin it up in the city. I've already been accepted to DePaul, and Minnesota's just being a bitch.

P.S. Have any of you heard the story about the guy who was watching porn so loudly that a guy thought a woman was being raped and he busted into his appartment with a samurai sword. Yeah, that happened in my town, Oconomowoc, just above a little place called Red&Bunnys Diner. Wonderful breakfast, there, really. In case you haven't heard

Even though I'm in the last school year, I still have 4 long years until I get to college. So I'm not THAT excited.

that ****ing sucks, and btw, you should look into college's financial aid programs dude, don't miss out an opportunity of going to a good college (even if its far away), there are ways you can pay for it.

Yeah, I filled out the FAFSA, but apparently I'm ineligible for any aid (stupid FAFSA, long story).

college rules! i've never eaten so much mac-n-cheeze or grilled cheeze in my life...

That's pretty much all I eat....and Marshmallow Mateys. I love but I'm kind of excited to move back home on account of the food.
Honestly, though this is the first time I haven't been ready for school to end.

so is college in the usa like uni in england? you start when you're 18?

if so, in england we just take out a loan for fees (3 grand a year) and then a loan for maintenance (like living costs) or a grant if you qualify. the average debt at the end is about 18 grand though lol

i cant wait for it.
#24
I dont know what uni to go to atm.

I know i want to do geology though.

I could go to birmingham, which has the plus of being local, and i know the city very well. Its probably what im going to do, though im thinking i might want to try somewhere further away from home...
#25
I believe uni will be a good time since I'll be far away from my rents. The downside is that I'll have to pay for everything myself unless I get a scholarship. I plan on going to the Newport art school of Wales.

I'm pretty excited about it. I really can't stand high school, and the couple colleges I've visited look so much more interesting.

I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
