I while back I heard this song, and I really enjoyed it. When I asked my friend, he claimed he found it on Limewire when looking for Alice in Chains (found, of course as a related artist). I have searched extensively for the title and artist, yet found nothing.

Some details on it: It's got a nice mix of acoustic and electric guitars. The acoustic is somewhat brings to mind that of "Serenity" by Godsmack. The electric has a kind of bluesy feeling. The chorus is pretty heavy, and sounds very- Alice in Chains.

As for lyrics, I'm not for certain, but here is my best interpretation:

Sometimes I feel like i can walk on water
Ain't nothing gonna drag me down
Hit me where it hurts
Don't waste your time
Don't bother
Just walk away without a sound

Up in the skies (something I can't make out)
And they're shining
I feel the sun on my skin
There ain't no doubt
Today it won't be raining
I won't be staying in (4 times)

(something) veins
I won't sweat 'em
Growing up as I grow old
Throw me anything, I can handle it
I can carry my own weight

I never look back
On the old days
Fighting my through the daily grind
There ain't no mountain high enough to stop me now
Keep on walking a straight line
Knock me down, I get back up on my feet
Wipe away the muck from my eyes
I'm man enough, strong enough to walk away
A stronger man until the day I die
Until the day I die

(something) veins
I won't sweat 'em
Growing up as I grow old
Throw me anything, I can handle it
I can carry my own weight

The 2nd result has the right lyrics, but the thread isn't there anymore

Probably a song by a completely unknown band.
Populus vult decipi. Decipiatur.
