Is the spider III any better than the spider II?
my spider II's blown out, all the wirings gone.
i know its a sh.t amp, but i need another amp within 2 weeks
i have enough for a spider III so should i get one
then take it back when i have enough for a better amp?

i've played on a spider 3 a little bit, and i own a spider 2, and from what i've seen they're the exact same, just a couple new settings of the 3, and the front looks a little different lol, but sound quality wise the exact same

The singer/guitarist in my band used a Spider II, and just upgraded to a Spider III. Here is my opinion......Line 6 makes a decent affordable product. Their equipment (amps and recording gear) is good for practice and home demos. But when it comes down to playing live, and working in the studio you should go in a different direction.

Edit: Go with the Roland Cube 60 or any fender amp. Fender makes some of the best affordable amplifiers on the market.

I definetly agree with the guy who said to get the Vox. I get people asking how much I paid for it, and when I say $350 they say they were expecting the price to be twice that.
