Hey guys I bought a Fender Deluxe amp about a month ago and its gorgeous. However I've noticed to tubes are getting really hot, I know that this is an average thing to happen with tube amps but are they supposed to be so hot that they burn when you touch them like it was so hot that if i would have kept my hand on there it would have been blistered thanks for the info

All I know is i'd never ever be so stupid as to touch the valves in my DSL401 while its on, the front panel gets hot enough!

By the way, should I bother taking a fan too gigs?

Cheers.

ye just get one of those cheap little fans and just run it behind the power tubes and you should be fine.
