Ok, so im going to college in september, and ive decided to take music, however, the course requires me to be able to read music, and i dont know how to.

I was wondering if any of you know any good sites that help you to learn for free that you would reccomend.

Thanks in advance.

if you cant get a teacher then browse in www.musictheory.net im preety sure you'll find something there.

P.S its very important to be able to read music ( i can already sight play in Bass and Treble Clef's), dont neglect that.
For long you live and high you fly
But only if you ride the tide
And balanced on the biggest wave
You race toward an early grave.
