is it even possible? ive been messing around with it but havn't really gotten any success. im using a 3.00mm stubby pick if that makes any difference.

You need have a lot of gain and treble to get something out of the really thick ones; that's my experience.

you could try a smaller sharper pick, like dunlop jazz III

i dunno i get em on a .68

i can do them on thicker than .54s, but i use .73mm picks, i dont know if it makes a differance
