I saw this on Ebay, for a brief second considered selling my car, then realised I still couldn't afford it (not that I'd ever part with my Volvo). It's a true hardtail strat, not just a blocked trem, with the string holes right through the body, telecaster style. For certain styles it's probably exactly what I'm looking for. I don't really want a wammy bar for playing blues, and I'd like a strat with lots of sustain.

Ebay Hardtail Strat

Do fender still make these? I can't find any current reference to them.

Just move it around the fretboard

You don't argue with tubadude on Washburn-related matters, he flosses with the G string from a set of 0.12's y'know....and it's WOUND!
