can anyone tell me what a hole on the back neckplate of an American Fender strat would be? Its between the two screw holes on the body end of the guitar. I figured it was some sort of adjustment...
thanks for the help

yeah its for adjusting the truss rod

No, the truss rod can be adjusted at the headstock. The small hole at the neckplate is for a micro-tilt adjustment that you can use to tilt the neck back or forward.
which way makes the neck go back and forward? the action is a little high, but yet the strings still buzz more than they should.
