...for the gigs im going to be playing its going to be 60% tone and 40% stage look, and I'd like the look of my rig to be able to back up its sound.

He didn't say he owned it. He was asking for other's opinion on it.

That would make an awesome rig and have those new vox amps been released yet? I really want to try one of them.

It looks great for almost anything, except for trash metal... those vox amps are released? I thought it was going to be another month... Maybe out here in california..

I see them on a few internet stores, I'll try and stop by a few guitar shops later this week and find one to try out.

I'd replace one of 'em with a Fender. Especially if the TS is looking for great cleans on occassion. But I'm a Fender guy.

And are you sure you need all 100W? That head comes in a 50W version, too, and if you ever want to hear natural power tube breakup (and still be able to hear afterwards), you may prefer the smaller amp.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.

i love you slats.

^I agree with slats on getting some Fender guitar...

In my book, you're going to always need atleast one guitar that has a humbucker and one that has a single coil.

lots of people have said dont get the 100 watt but is 50 loud enough?(never had tube befor) if i have the money should i get the 100 watt?
#18
You could, but if all you're going to be doing is playing at home...then that's not a very reasonable choice tbh.

50 watts is more than enough!

Get the 100W Bigger your amp = more you getlaid after gigs!!

Nah the 50W would cut it for pretty much ANY gigging situation. Except for maybe un-mic'd outdoor 5 000+ crowd.

EDIT: I feel so hypocritical.. "get the 50W" from the guy with a 200W..
#20
Yeah, a lot of people are always asking me...

"IS YOUR AMP LIKE THOSE PRO AMPS THAT ARE LIKE *shapes a huge rectangular shape* LIKE THAT!?"

me: No, it's not that big, It's managable and sounds real nice!

them: Oh...

I think your theory is right, devoid. >_>

a 50 watt is enough, i think it's something like 100 or 120 SS watts

and a strat or a telecaster (even a gretsch) would be good for using the nice vox cleans
