People don't like Dave Mustaine because he created something that owned Metallica in just about every single aspect of thrash metal.

what do you mean by punk and pop-punk?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

^ i meant what bands do you consider punk and pop-punk. I know what "punk" and "pop-punk" mean in terms of being music genres, but there's quite a bit of overlap, and quite wildly varying guitar tones in most genres.

ah... i'm only familar with the tones of bowling for soup and blink, but they use mesas, far as i know.

A genz benz el-diablo combo, or a mesa f-series (or the new express series is doubtless worth a try) would be what I'd be looking at. Not too sure about the other bands you mentioned.
