If I run a bass amp through guitar speakers, is it going to hurt the cab? For example a Sunn Couliseum through an Avatar 2x12 with one Vintage 30 and a G12H30 ?

It'll damage the speaker, they're not made to handle the low bass frequencies.

if you use a guitar through the bass head you shouldnt have a problem. Even with a bass if you are using a closed back cab and dont crank it should bo ok, but it wont sound too good.
