Hey Ug, ive been umpiring since I was 12. Im 15 now and i literally CANNOT STAND IT ANYMORE. I hate getting hit with baseballs, getting yelled at by coaches even when i make the right call, and the hot summer afternoons. Today, i was telling my dad about how this will be my last year. I am saving up for a car ( i have about 5k right now ) and it is absolutely imperative that I make good money this summer. My dad was saying how I should just go down to the ballpark for a few days every week, play guitar with a sign that says "Saving up for my first car". Has anyone ever done this, and how much money could i get?

Do you need a permit to do that in St. Louis? I'd look into that now. It also might be dificult to do it on stadium property, you might need to be on the streets outside... Is Busch Stadium enough in an urban enough setting (like the way Fenway Park is pretty much on a Boston city block) that a lot of people would walk by?

Yeah I'm an umpire for my town too. I get paid quie a bit so I don't mind. If a coach yells at me like two or three times i'll throw them out:P Anyways You have to get a busking license. It's a permit to play for money. But Yeah that's a pretty good idea as long as you don't suck!

Since it's very crowded there, make sure you watch the money in the case. You don't want some random Dodgers fan to take advantage of a five-finger discount.
