i was wondering how difficult would it be to shape a strat into a mustang??
is it worth it ?? or should i star from scrath??

I like how you made fun of the threadstarer's typo, while making your own.


Threadstarter, you could modify your strat, but I'd recommend starting from scratch. That way you get two bodies, and you won't risk messing up a current one.

Yeah, start from scratch. It's easier and you don't risk hurting your current guitar.
Not taking any online orders.

Plus, I think that mustang has larger dimensions in some directions than a strat.

Actually, the body counturs would work, but all the routing would be at the wrong places. Make a new body instead.

Nah, superimpose the bodies onto each other in an image editing program... it's way off in a few places.
