Is it really a good marshall imitator? I've heard it was, and I just wanted to check with people who knew. I have the money to buy it, now I just want to know if it's worth the money. If it does which does it sound like? the plexi, the JCM, the DSL?

sounds a lot like a JCM 800 with a tad more gain, its not exact, buts its the closest you can get for the price.

you might hve to boost it to sound like Slayer, but yeah if you have active pups you can get ZW tones out f it. Didnt really try to milk a slash tone out of it though.

Basically as said above its nearly like a slightly modded Jcm 800. Its looks can be VERY decieving!
But ya as Kid said a boost would possibly be needed for slayer!

No boost is needed for Slayer.
It's a JCM-based amp, but with a bit of it's own Peavey tone, and a ton of gain. However, it's vintage voiced gain. You'd only need an OD pedal for really modern sounding distortion.
