So I'm trying to learn the first solo bit from the video below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fG8U3vbeH18

When I usually try to learn a new solo lick I play it slow with a metronome and gradually increase the speed BUT with this one there are 5 notes and I cant seem to get it to 'fit' when I try to play it with the metronome.

Any help would be cool

Wow that guy's tone is friggin' horrible...
This is a very famous lick, used in many solos. First one that comes to mind is Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne. Get the Guitar Pro tab, maybe it'll help you out.

They could be 5th notes (aka, 5 notes per beat). It's a very tricky timing to naturally feel. It takes awhile to develop it.
