So i am buying a keyboard and i was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for books i could get for learning. Ones that will teach scales, chords, techniques, maybe a few actual songs. But they have to be really basic, i have very little understanding of music theory, so one that teaches from scratch but is full of information.

Cheers guys for suggestions!!

I got a really good yamaha songbook with my keyboard. Maybe if you buy a keyboard there will be a free book with your one too. Sorry I don't know any names of good books.

make sure you curve your fingers when you play. If your going to be playing just a lot of chords changes make sure you know your scale and chord patterns. Also make sure you know your chord inversions.
