okay, my band WaggyPlank is currently recording a cd. i use my own tascam digital 8 track recorder. the problem is that when i get the files on my computer, they are WAV files. i would like them to be smaller, like mp3 files. does anybody know a way to convert them? are there any programs that i would likely have that could do this? i have itunes and windows media player. not alot of special stuff, but thank you

Well, anything basic will convert a WAV to MP3, you can go on google and just type in "wav to mp3 converter" and get one pop up. Something simple like Music Match Jukebox even converts it.
