You know sometimes when you slide on the lower strings, and you get that annoying screech? Is there any way to avoid that?

Finger ease, Groove juice, The grease from behind your ears... It's really a thing you have to either lube for, Or learn how to play without sliding. It's called " String talk ", And it's made many a musician go numb during a gig. It happens, And there's no true way to avoid them. Another way to get around it is go for " Flatwound " strings. If anything, Ask you local musical instrument provider.

I don't really mind it.

The Human Abstract played with lots of screeches in their acoustic songs, and left it like that on the album.

Look a Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Howlin' wolf, Tommy Castro. If you like that cookie cuter clean, Then take muh advice. If you like that raw, Eargasmic sound that all guitars reek when let run wild, PLAY THAT MONKEY!
