yeah im refering to guitarist (belong to advance but not to expert lvl yet) The fastest song i can play is scarified, and a little bit of eugene trick bag. is there any song that is easier than these 2 or at the same lvl at these 2 song but yet overrated? thanks!

umm... a lot of metallica songs. Just scale more often than not. Just practice them slowly and you'll sound amazing.
Heads up to everyone, new person using this account

Dude, if you can play Scarified...well, you don't need our help. That song is immense to play, I can only do the main riffs.

I dunno, there's some songs which people think are hard but aren't like Layla. However, you could just play some mindless shred.

If a decent guitarist thinks they are tough then they probably are.
If they're not a guitar player they'll probably be impressed by left hand trilling while waving your right hand about, and sticking your tongue out and gurning a lot.

Kirk Hammett bases alot of his solos on scales but don't most guitarists do that anyways.

Any Song By Green Day is overrated.

Serrena by Jason Becker. If you are already clean with triad sweeps then it's easy.
Quest for "the tone": pending.

If they are real guitarists you won't be able to fool them with something that just looks hard.

Unless the other people are guitarists, then you just get laughed at.

I think the best way would be to actually play a hard song.
