Grab a rifle and head down to your local High School.
Easiest way of making friends there is.

Just cut yourself away from everyone and be really detatched and otherworldly. People will be scared. It works for me. Fear works far better than friends.

Well, why don't you have friends right now? Too shy? Too insecure? Haven't tried?

What's your situation?

A common misconception. Those people will change you.

Edit:

Be yourself.

Wow, apparently this is a larger problem than I had originally thought.

Don't be two-faced. Ya got to be confident. People that are good friends just gel together, even if they don't have a lot in common, just bonding over a few cool things works. Like, say guitar (hmm...dare I say that you may actually play guitar...possibly...) Just get out more. Go to games, plan a movie or bowling night. Go to parties, stuff like that. Or get a really hot girlfriend, that could work.

Personally, I suffer from a severe case of ''anti-socialism'' . I honestly do not have one friend at school, nor have i ever made any attempt to talk to anyone. I find it easier to talk to people over the internet :\ lame, i know. but i know other people go through the same thing. you are not alone, fellow loners!

You're bitter.

Nice to meet you. If:

a) That was sarcasm: I look forward to more humor from you

b) That was meant to be antagonizing: Mission Failed, and I suggest no further attempts to do whatever it was you set out to do.

what?

I said you're bitter, because you think people will try to change if you're being yourself.

I guess that's C) Giving an honest opinion

Just be more outgoing. Tell jokes. Everybody likes jokes except for the extremely small percent of people who have a stick shoved completely up their ass.
Once you get a few friends, find out who their friends are.....thats what happened to me.

You have some wit to you. Alright. *cranks it UP ^^^^*

I was trying to state how the environment around you will shape your character/personality, so, technically, you won't be the same. Am I in over my head?

I could be, I tend to do that.

You would have a point, except I was talking about people who were like you. So you'd change into... people who were already like you.

Yeah you will be shaped because of the environment growing up, but hopefully your personality won't change (well... if it's good) when you're older, hanging out with different crowds. I know I don't.

Get a car or change your personality drastically. I recommend the former.

Bold: Why would you post?

Italicized: Who wants to hang out with themself? You'd end up becoming self-centered, stuck up... and, eventually, they would too. Being self centered, etc, they would eventually split apart. Reminds me a bit of The Matrix.

I'm digging an even larger hole now. Haha...

Bold: What?

Italicizieid: You're not hanging out with a clone
You're hanging out with people who are into the same things like you.
Besides, I wouldn't mind hanging out with myself, I'm very smart, creative and fun.

I'm glad you never said "Birds of a feather". You really are above the average, aren't you? Aheheh, ahehe, aren't you!

The Matrix is often used in calculation of Linear and Non-Linear systems. As well, it is found in some part of "The Cell", I can't remember which (Thanks, drugs). As well, it was a 3-part movie, which was quite popular. I liked it. Hence the quote.

I'm also going to note the surprisingly clever recycling of my previous post's format. Kensai has an edge to him. If you were on the street... hypothetically...

I'd probably smile. Probably.

Well, I'm too young to drive and I've been changing myself over the past few months, but I know people don't want to talk to me.
#37
If you really want to make friends, that works against you. It's a cruel irony. Get yourself to the point where you don't care, and you will act natural. Then friendship just kind of happens. If you're too tense and nervous people will be uncomfortable, so just...don't care.
