i feel this season is going to be between the two ferrari drivers and alonso , but the joy of watching it sometimes is that things can never go as you expect

Anthony Davidson (never Raced)

Didn't he drive a Minardi back in 2002 or 2004? Just one race I thought.

Edit: From wiki:

The following season Davidson started two races for Minardi who temporarily suspended regular driver Alex Yoong.

Neeeeeeeyawhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

I'll watch at least some of it from a totally casual point of view. When is MotoGP or did I miss all of it and Rossi?
#8
i wasn’t surprised by the practice times today. I personally prefer Massa to raikkonen and i think if they are given equal opportunities this year Massa will come out on top

The hondas seem a bit crap again which is a shame because it would be great if button could get some more wins but it looks like Hamilton has got a good car!

Anybody else think bmw might surprise? The best thing about this season is that there is no Schumacher....

Pfft I loved and will always love Schumacher.

What were the practice times like today? I have to decide whether or not to get up at 3 this morning or wait to watch the replay, I hate not watching live though.

I'm not really looking forward to this season that much. It just seems like every team is a "B" team, or at most are a bit second-rate, with a few top teams that are going to steal away the championship. I pray to god I'm wrong though
#13
my favourite drivers Alonso so im rooting for him. good to see him with an even better team. screw renault.

and i think the new rules will be cool, the one set of tires a race thing, will make things more exciting and there'll be more taking over. instead of qualifying, then racing in that order till the end. man that sucked.

im looking forward to it.

just seen qualifying times: Sato in tenth many crashes and a good season for Super Aguri, Hamilton and Kubica should be good to watch, and Albers is 3 Seconds slower than his ROOKIE teammate. BMWs are a good surprise in 3rd and 5th, watch them this year

Also to the guy who found that Davidson had raced before

Thanks. Apart from a hand full of races, I've seen 'em all since Jerez 1997, so yeah, I know a fair bit about F1.

The Super Aguri's are crazy! I'm sure Williams and Spyker will protest.

Hopefully Kimi can maintain his position and win, it'd be good for him.

I'm really really looking forward to it this year.
Am I the only one, however, who will miss Michael Schumacher?
I hope it doesn't seem, like I'm young, foolish, and green.

The man is a walking accident.

I give it a season before Schumacher gets bored and makes a come-back.

This season I just can't get excited about it. For all not many liked Mikey, a lot has gone from the sport now that the best driver ever has packed it in.

Yes he was, he nearly killed a few people last season

But he got 10th in qualifying so hes doing pretty good.

I agree about schumi, O loved the man. But I haven't been this excited about a season in a long time, the field looks the most even its been in a long time.

Im personally glad Schuey is out, he was too much of a dominant force, much like and old Manchester United.

I haven't been into it for a couple of years now, but I think i'm going to get back into watching all the races again, I used to be a big fan. Was always a Mclaren fan.

I'm definitely keeping an eye out on Hamilton though, i've known about him for a while, I saw a couple of features on him years ago when he was doing go-karts, reporters saying that he's the future of racing.

Does anyone know what the GMT times for Qualifying/Race are?

Although there was that win-at-all-costs aspects to his driving, it is what made him the best ever. The man lives and breathes to win.

Fronkpies, You stayed up til 2 to watch it? You could just wait until 3:30 when the reapeat is on.

with Sato in 10th the midfield should be craping themselves, DC can just wait the Sato to clear the mid for him and catch the easy points

I actually don't think sato is THAT bad he is bad though amd the only reason he is still in formula one is because the team super aguri was made so that he can have a drive no other reason. purely because the japanese public didn't want sato to go out of formula one. (well maybe some other reasons but only a few). Also the team was designed all arounf sato so they won't wanna drop him otherwise what would have been thew point in making the team.

shumi was the benchmark for most of the drivers to beat after that year he won the title by the french race

the feild is soooo even just now, and it is harder to separate the top teams
