It's probably been done before, but I'm curious. Which metal singer's voice would you gladly sell your soul for? I would kill for Matt Barlow's voice (Hansi Kursch was up there to, but Matt Barlow was the person who got me into high pitched singing).

Reply Away!

i would either do corey taylor or chad gray. slipknot may suck but he has such a range from a sick growl to an all out yell to a sweet bassy voice. and same with chad but his is slightly higher

Dani Filth, so I could erase it from the face of the earth.

The only advantage of home-schooling is that it gives you good reason to commit suicide.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

Anyways... I'd like to have Lord Worm's voice (None So Vile era). Extremely undecipherable growls ftmfw.

Tobias Sammet, Hansi Kürsch, Mikael Åkerfeldt, Chuck Billy and while not 100% metal by this forum's standards, Blackie Lawless

The opening to Graves of Fathers has the most amazing vocal part I have ever heard.

So hard to choose

I'd say Roy Kahn because he have range, he can hit those higher notes, and with a voice like that for ballads, girls would be all over me regardless of the band style.

muhammed suicmez, its so growly yet so clean at the same time and melds perfectly with necrophagists music, he has perfect death metal vocals.
#29
The guy from fallout boy or panic at the disco. I also like James Blunt.
Or Dan Donegan from Disturbed (his crazy vocals used as an instrument style is pretty cool even though I don't really like their music that much). I think metal vocals aren't very good. Except old metal like Iron Maiden, Ozzy/Black Sabbath, Dio, and of course HAIR METAL.

Fallout Boy, P!ATD, Disturbed, and James Blunt =/= Metal. If you think metal vocals aren't very good, then why are you here? And Hair Metal isn't allowed here.

I would love to be able to sing like Phil Anselmo or Serj Tankian, but there are loads of others whose voices I enjoy: Dave Mustaine, Matt Heafy, James LaBrie(whose voice I'm liking more and more), Randy Blythe, Angela Gossow(brutal), just to name a few.
