I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but what exactly is a divebomb? I know it's done with a tremolo bar but that's it.

Basically, if you have a floyd rose...

Play like an open low E, and push the bar down towards the body, that's a dive bomb.

you dont need a floyd, just any trem would do.

I wouldn't recommend doing dive bombs on PRS trems, or Strat trems lol.

Go for it if you want though.

Yeah that helps with the tuning, but it doesn't stop the bar from snapping

you could always use the poor mans dive bomb and bend behind the nut or bend the neck
...wait behind the nut raises pitch just bend the neck and hope it dont snap

Please don't try to give people advice if you really don't know what you're talking about... You just told somebody to physically bend their guitar neck to get a different pitch, unless your guitar is a piece of trash and you don't care about breaking it, there is no smart way to go about doing this.
