anyway, that was a great night. i went with my dad, and already thought they were good. but wasnt really my type of music, but seeing them live was crazy it lasted about 4 hours, but ya.....woo!

I don't think there's any tickets left. I bought mine on the first day of pre-sale and the best i could get was balcony. Pretty expensive too, 80(cdn) bucks a ticket.

Anyways can't wait it's gonna kick ass!

I went to there first concert of the tour on Wednesday in Phoenix.

*SPOILERS!*

Paul opened with "Get Out of Yard" off his new album with the human capo and double neck and everything. And the first words were, "Get outta my yard PHOENIX!". I nearly fainted. He went back to the Racer X days and played "Boku No Atama" and "Scarified". Man, that was awesome. He played a few others too. Next was Petrucci. He played songs from his new album "Suspended Animation" which was awesome. And Mike Portnoy was there too. After that is was... JOE SATRIANI! Everybody in the audience immediatley stood up like he was royalty and stayed up for the rest of the show. After Joe played more than anybody else, about an hour and a half, they all came out together. They did some jams I didn't recognize but they played Foxy Lady, Purple Haze, and parts of Voodoo Child. Inbetween one song, Joe just said, "I have waaay to many of these picks that I don't know what to do with them!". Then he starts throwing them all over the place! I was so close I could see the sweat on their faces but I didn't catch any.
Anyway, that's my story. The most righteous night of my life.

I had my uncle buy them for me, because he works at a hospital at Long Island, and one of his patients was Joe Satriani's mother, I never had the chance to meet him though.
