At least at first? I'm not sure if I need to get a wide neck, or if it's just my technique (or lack thereof).

Is it normal to bump into other strings at first?

if you haven't been playing guitar alot it would be lack of accuracy, so it would be good to practice getting accurate before practicing songs etc, play chromatic stuff while moving string or somthing.

I haven't bought it yet. It'll be an Agile AL 3000, in lefty. So I wanted to make sure before I bought it that I got the right one.

I have big hands, but not really fat fingers, it's all my palms.
