my band are looking for a portable studio recorder i.e 8track etc for hopefully under 200pound

we dont want a real low quality one but one that wil at least give us semi studio quality tracks for demos before we go to studio etc.

and something to build ideas on

I don't know the conversion of pounds but a Fostex Mr-8 brand new can be had for about $250 american. It has 8 tracks, built in effects, and excellent quality. It is worth the extra money, believe me I own it.

250 is alot cheaper than 200 and guessing it would be around 150-180 so thats spot on. ill check it out now
