On the floyd rose site, it says that the FRs are designed for a 10" fretboard radius. Is this necessary, or can I use any radius with a FR bridge/nut? I was hoping to make a larger radius than that, 12" or higher.

Here is my referance: http://floydrose.com/nutsizes.html

Thanks for any help.

well i don't think it would make that much of a diff, your action may vary from string to string though, and obviously you'll have to take care while setting up.

You should be able to work around it at the bridge, but it'll be harder to work around at the nut. There are locking nuts that are made for 12", 14", and 16" radiuses out there.

Ok, thanks. I may try looking for a different nut then. Any good places you know of in the UK?
