What do people use when playing guitar to record videos of them playing over music, etc.? Thanks for the help anyone.

A video camera? I don't understand the question. You mean the backing tracks?

webcams and MS Moviemaker works, then you can pick what the audio source is, whether that's line in, a mic, usb from a multi device, etc... I've seen a lot of people use digicams too.

Yeah, but is there anything that lets you record something without hooking your webcam up to the computer?
