This is a new thrash band from NC. They kinda like Trivium, except thrashier...and NO screaming.
Their debut album, "The Road To Bloodshed," is due out on April 24.
Check em out. Here

I like them okay. They were teh opener then I went to my first concert last year. Opeth and LoG co-headlined. I was there for Opeth.

I think they're decent. Nothing TOO special. But their lead guy is pretty good.

The vocals are just bad. Nothin special either.

Meh, more time to get wasted before Annihilator takes the stage, so I'm half dead by the time Trivium comes on.

They're better than Trivium that's for sure but they're not very good. At least their vocalist doesn't sound like he's constipated.
Intethod > Sanctity if you're looking for a metalcore/poser trash band.

Same for me.

They only played a 15 minute show. They were alright.

Sanctity was great live. Saw them in Atlanta with Black Label Society. They got alot of talent. And yeah Sanctity is pure thrash metal. Just because they got hooked up by triviums singer doesn't make them anything like them.

There vocalist is a lot better, there lyrics are better, it snot as cheesy either. Listen to triviums "we are the fire". Then listen to any sanctity song. You can tell a difference between cheesy forced music(trivium) and good Thrash(sanctity). Road to bloodshed is one of the best albums ive heard in a long time. Yes, i have heard the whole album.

oh in atlanta they had the stage for about 45 minutes and played 5 songs. By the time Black Label Society came out we were all tired from Sanctitys pit that we didnt even mosh for the first 5 songs BLS played.

They're not very original but a whole lot better than Trivium. Trivium makes the ultimate cheese-filled music.

saw them open for Dragonforce last summer. They were ok apart from their god awful lead tone.

Im deffinately gunna get the new album when i comes out next week, cant wait to see them i trivium support, hell i cant wait to see sanctity, gojira and annihilator at that gig. I love them all haha. Theyv deffinately got some amazing technical ability though.

I dont know what half you guys are talking about, it seems people trash a band just to sound cool. I saw these guys this weekend at the Chicago Black Label Society show and they were great. The crowd was going nuts and security had to come in to contain all the moshpits. It was pretty cool. This is a really good up and coming band who are releasing their first album and they have a great shot at being pretty big. Why cant people just give them some support in hoped that the trash scene will get rejuvinated a bit? Oh, i forgot, its cool to trash a band.

I saw Sanctity last night in Glasgow supporting Trivium and I thought they were awesome. Jared was wearing a kilt, and I got his autograph. Zeppo and Beneath the Machine are great songs. Definately picking up Road to Bloodshed when it's out.

I got Road to Bloodshed, I think it's amazing. Tight guitars, clear production, and cool vocals, kind of remind me of Chuck Billy.

It's a shame the album art is so "metalcore", I know that's going to make them a lot less popular than they deserve to be. I know if I hadn't heard "Beneath The Machine" on a compilation cd, I would have taken one look at the cover and dismissed them as crap...

I thought they sucked ass when I saw em support Gojira/Annihilator.

Thats just me though.

sounded very cool at first, then suddenly got extremely boring
and what's up with the MoP rip-off at the intro of Zeppo?

beats the hell out of Trivium anyway

They were ****ing awesome live, and on top of that, they are kickass guys. They signed my ticket then me and my friend talked to the dudes for like 10 minutes while waiting for Anninhilator, and they were really cool.

HAHAHAHAHA!! And people say that Matt Heafy sounds like James Hetfield!! They actually sound pretty good IMO, but I prefer Sanctity.

Gah. Why does everyone hate Trivium? Ah well, I love 'em.

Anyway, these guys were great supporting Trivium. 'Beneath the Machine' was ****ing awesome live. I like em, even if the vocalist kept coming on and trying to sing behind Trivium in Triviums set. That made me angry.

Heh i was there too, chicago right? House of Blues i think it was?
#34
They sound like Trivium because Matt Heafy loves them and was one of the main reasons they got discovered and put on Roadrunner.

Brilliant live band. Seen em with Trivium in Glasgow. Singer was wearing a kilt and someone was stupid enough to shout "Are ye a real scotsman!?!" He then flashed the audience. Caused a bit of an awkward moment.

i saw them open for BLS about 2 months ago, right before their album came out.

i thought they were ok. the music was decent, but i wasnt a huge fan of their vocals.

I saw them with Black Label Society a little while back. They aren't too bad live. Better live than on album too, and better than Trivium.
