Hi there. I wanted an accoustic simulator pedal, but i dont know too much about them. Which ones are ok? I've heard good things about the boss AC-2. Any suggestions?
Thanx!

Boss AC-2 is the only one anyone knows! Including myself, I admit. I've tried amps and effects processors with built in acoustic sims. They're not very convincing. I mean, it gives a nice sound for strumming chords and stuff, but it can't replace a real acoustic.

The thing is that an electric guitar has a much longer sustain and resonates differently to an acoustic. So even if you shape the sound like an acoustic, it won't be 100% accurate.

The closest you'll ever come with an electric guitar would be to install some piezo pickups on your guitar.
