hi not sure this is the right place, but hey,

I was browsing youtube for talkboxes when I came across some guy making motorbike noises with the guitar, high gain and the tremolo. Is there a place I could find out how to do this? How is it done? It looks fun.

Thanks in advance

would you be talking about Herman Ri?

basically you just chug on the low E while messing around with the tremolo, and to 'switch gears', just use a different fret

That guy knows some cool techniques, I want a FL!

Guess I'll stick to the strat with high gain and vintage trem lol.

Is there anyway to do this without a tremolo bar?

Doubt it, he flicks the string on the motorbike one though, so maybe and he slides his finger across the strings for the gear change, but he uses the trem for the effect.

Not really....you need to dump the bar all the way down until the strings are flabby, flicking them will give you that revving sound. Graduallybringing the bar up from that will increase the pitch and sound like it's "accelerating", leave the whole thing making noise but the open strings one by one in ascending order to do the "gears", scooping the bar each time.
Actually called Mark!
