just picked up a cheap a$$ guitar. it plays great. i wanna put a floyd rose tremelo & lock nut on it. changing the parts doesn't look that hard. what kinds of things am i going to run into as far as setting it up right? or should i just pay to have it done?

What bridge do you have on there already? If it's not a floyd rose style bridge, you may have a route a hole in your guitar.

I take it you've never done work like this before?

Unless the guitar has a floyd style bridge already, it's going to be very hard, or at least it would be for me.

Also, it would probably be expensive to have it done.
