is there any way to transfer videos from my computer downstairs, via a usb pen to my xbox 360 upstairs, without bringing the xbox down. If neccessary i will bring the xbox down but i'd rather not. any suggestions???

there is a way to stream videos on your 360, but you have to synch the two up first

Threadstarter, i'm not sure if you can stick videos on your xbox 360 but i'm gonna try it with a USB pen now, so i'll reply.

you can sync them up with network cables and some software from microsoft, that way you dont waist space on the 360s hd

What are the rates where you live?

I found this when I looked up info on the 360's power use

Leaving it plugged in for a year non-stop the 360 will use 17.52 kWh of power. depending on how often someone plays it (this is based on playing it two hours per day) you'll use 116.48 kWh. That's a total of 134 kWh. Over the period of a year that'll run you about $20-$30 dollars here in the states.
