I'm not the one to ask like a-hundred times which bass to get. I already have my amp picked out, Fender rumble 100/210. However, I don't have the expierence to tell what is decent and what is not. So.... Please choose with an explanation...

Do not buy the olp, I have played several of them and they are hands down the worst instruments i have ever played. I've never played a Traben, so i can't really offer an opinion on that one. The ltd is probably your best bet.

Collective soul, Jet, Rage against the machine, velvet Revolver, Ac/Dc. Anything, but nothing hard.

I'd personally go with the Traben, I don't really like LTD Basses. Their guitars are nice though. Traben's have huge bridges, which really adds to their sound. If I had the money, I'd get one.

My wife plays my guitars fine, but my girlfriend has smaller hands, and she wants to learn how to play.

I don't really understand why basses have 24 frets, I mean, I've never seen a bassist playing more than the 12 fret.

Fender Rumble

Alright, I have a squier P-Bass, which is technically a Fender P-bass. However, I like to be unique, I've never seen a Traben or a Viper, so they are my main choices,

well tbh, ESP's are basically built for "hard" music so that's not really a gd idea

In that price range, I think your best bet is actually Peavey. They make extremely nice basses, even in the lower-end. A few suggestions for you to review at your leisure:

I like Peavey aswell, but there akward eith me. I'm 6'2" and like my bass "lower" than the norm, making it wierd. However, I will also consider that.

Get the Viper, it -like the rest of anything with ESP/LTD on the head- is easily the best bang for its buck.

Have you had a look at yamaha, they make some really good basses in that price range

If it was a Pacifica, please don't let its quality make you think Yamaha products are generally crappy. Yamaha makes nice basses and mid-priced guitars. I personally don't like them that much (I sold my old Yamaha RBX 370 but that was just because I hated the neck profile), but they're reliable as all hell.
