good stuff.

what could use work: this sounds kind of like the backing for pop punk on the radio. so maybe add vocals and make it so? the bass could use work as well. more interesting lines instead of just going with the proggresion. also change you profile. jk

what is good: good drums and guitar playing, all some more riff based stuff instead of powerchords would be nice. the slow bit at the end is really cool.

this really could make a great pop song. i think im hearing a cool synth really low in the mix somewhere around 2:20, unless im crazy. i really like that part (if it exists). the slow bridge thing is pretty cool, i like the volume effects on the guitar. for me, the last minute and a half really shine here. the outro 'chorus' has some great chord voicings, and the outro is really good and fitting, good guitar melodies there. this truly does need vocals, awesome work though. mind giving mine a listen?

yeah there is a synth in there, it's just a really bad mix so you can barely hear it. i'm going to remix it soon (with new drum sounds too) so it'll sound wayy better.

edit: gallagher, i have no idea why you can't add me. maybe try again?

Will be pretty cool with vocals. Not in love with the tone of the guitar though. Very full sound to the recording, well put together. Sounds like it could be a very radio friendly song if it has the right lyrics and vocals. Really digging the bridge. I think the song would be more effective if it were a tad shorter. But, its hard to tell until vocals are layed down. Good job overall.

If you have any time here is mine.

how did i do the drums? or the entire song? for the drums, i wrote the parts in a program called tabledit, exported as a MIDI, and imported the file into garageband, into a 'rock drum' software instrument track. if you're wondering about the other instruments, i plugged my guitar and bass straight into my line 6 toneport and used amplitube 2 for the guitar sounds and ampeg svx for the bass.

and yeah, come to think of it, the overall melodic feel reminds me of makes no difference. good song though (makes no difference, that is).

WOW. This is some good stuff. I seriously dig the flow and arrangement. Very creative.

It's kind of a cross between Third Eye Blind and new age Blink-182, if that's possible.

enojoyed it a lot man, good full sound and its quite creative for this sort of sound. All the dynamics work quite well though it'll obbiously be better when you re-mix it.. i would say that with all of the stopping and starting the vocals are really gonna need to tie together the separate sequences. Good sond though, looking forward to hearing it with vocals.

lol i can't add you either..ty for the crit...well i am on the needs vox bandwagon..all around pretty sweet maybe a few riff/leads but then the gengre doesn't really need them too much...basically a good song..the vox will decid if it's good or great i think...

what's the error that comes up when you try to add me? that's really weird.

This is really good stuff. Bass line could use a little variation, definately crying for vox. The bridge was pretty cool. Interesting synth in the background, gave it a totally different vibe. Nothing bad to say really, though when the guitar does the stop rhythm with the drums I'd like the last stop to have a little drum fill leading back into the rhythm when it starts again. Good stuff man, keep it up!

Really comercial pop punk song imo. Which isnt bad, I like it alot actually!! Very blink influenced anyway! :P
Get some vocals on it, I would suggest maybe doing something new and different to it, because as good as it is, it has been done...The synth imo just doesnt go. the keyboard part goes tho! lol.. But saying that DAMN you should get a band together and proper record this stuff!!!
