me and few friends are jamming tonight and want to have some songs already in mind for when we practice. we're mainly into the hard rock/ metal of the 80s, such as Van Halen, Guns n roses, AC/DC, metallica, ZZ Top, seeing as i play lead, we want some songs that have a blues influence, but of course metal songs are gonna be played too. ur input would help thanx fellow rockers!!

well i guess some songs are obvious (back in black, sweet child, etc.) but there are other cool songs too, like nightrain from guns n' roses (or its so easy) or for those about to rock from ACDC those are cool songs

EDIT: oh you posted that message before mine, um...how about the scorpions? skid row? they have lots of good songs, or motley crue

Do some of the lesser 80's metal bands. Scorpions, SkidRow, Kansas, and Boston are a few to get you started.

"Kansas - Carry on Wayward" son is the shit!

And don't forget to play some Iron Maiden! The Phantom of the Opera is a really cool song which is really fun to play. You could check out "The Prisoner" and "22 Acacia Avenue" as well.

Good jamming songs are anything by SRV or Hendrix. I also jam to Oasis cause that's a laugh

Youth Gone Wild by Skid Row is a pretty good song to practice too.

Their timing is kinda funky though.
