you can change the tension of the springs. Not the action of the trem./bridge. Just turn the screws on the back of your guitar, under the back plate, counter-clockwise. (not a lot though, just a little bit, or you'll screw up your guitar.)

put more springs under ur guitar?
i just put a piece of wood to just block it...
i don't use it anymore.

is it necessary to have all 3 springs connected on a squire to loosen the trem or is it better to just adjust the screws that connect the body
