yeah but I have looked there, they seem so expensive, when compared to US sites. I think i am just unsure what to buy

Yeah Peavey's probably aren't the best option in that neck of the woods, specially seeing you have so many great amps there already. Check out some ENGL's I'm sure someone here could narrow down a few models for you.

I can only really stretch to £400 ish so engl are out of the question really, can only afford their low end ones, will prob opt for the marshall dsl401 or laney lc30 with a pedal

They sometimes apear on eBay but you're talking a minimum of 700

tell me about it, nevermind. I heard some guy demo a genz benz, that sounded mint, but again its the cost of getting them here that shoots the price through the roof. Oh well marshall it is

Laney's are really good, cheap to. You'll probably be able to pick up a really nice head for about £350.

yeah i looked at the gh50l and a cab and its not unrealistic, the only problem is the volume unless I get an attenuator.
