I have down-tuned my acoustic big E to a C, and placed a capo on the 3rd fret covering the first 5 strings. Whenever I play 5th fret on the E (now C string) and the G at the same time as an open (3rd cause of the capo) the G string rattles like crazy. But ONLY when I am on the 5th fret of the E string (now C) I have a video but it doesn't pick up the rattle too well. Anyone know how to fix this?

so let me get this straight....

you have your low E string tuned down to C and you have the e B G D and A strings capo'd on the third fret.

now when you play the low E string (which is tuned down to C) and the G string open (which is capo'd on 3), the G string rattles?
that is correct. But only when I am on the 5th fret of the E, the G string rattles. If I am on the 6th, or 4th, it doesn't. How strange is that?
