IIRC, 6:00 by Dream Theater has some quite nice bass work in it.

Also try Saria's Song, Schism by Tool, American Life and Sgt. Baker by Primus, And some blues basslines, which usually rule.

My personal favorite riff to play is Detroit rock city (KISS) sure very reptive but still very cool like that fast little licks during the verses <3 aswell improvising some raming from the 12th fret A string.
