There are only so many knobs, just tweak them and see what you can get.

I would try something like

Stack or recto model
Bass: 4
Mids: 8
Treble: 8

Bridge pickup (hopefully humbucker), and a slight dab of short delay or reverb.

Thanks man....good point..I just gotta play around w/the knobs, but anyway, I will try those settings. I do have two humbuckers, but are you sure I should use the bridge pup? I thought for sure I should use the neck pup..Neil is using the nueck pup in the video.

Yeah go for the neck pup.

WHen I was trying to get his tone, I was doing my best to get the neck pup to sound like the bridge pup, if that makes sense.

Yeah I would go for neck pickup for that creamy tone.

Yeah it's sorta like a...sticky-sounding lead tone coming from the neck pup.

Personally one of my fave tones.

Use overdrive and for settings..maybe you can try Sweet Child O Mine that kind of sound. well i prefer bass 5 mid 7-8 treble 7-8 and gain max.and of course overdrive with neck pups

I wouldn't even go near maxing the gain, it doesn't sound very high gain at all.

Yeah, I've played around with the tone...

Just fix it up, but you can get a similar tone to him. Just put some chorus and delay and fix the eq up! Also, neck pick up.

Neck pickup with the metal sound but low distortion, bass at 3 treble at 5 and middle at 5 and some reverb
