Yesterday I heard parts of an album that I heard was by Cannonball Adderley... all the songs I heard were blues songs, and there were spoken intros to each song I heard. One song had a flute playing the melody. If it helps, I heard at least two that I think were in F.

I checked out the previews for his cd Them Dirty Blues, and I don't think that's it. If anyone happens to have an idea of what the cd is, I'd appreciate it

This is a pretty huge task when you think about alllll of the albums he did. I'll try, but I can't guarntee anything. Did it sound live?

EDIT: It could be "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy"

It sounded like it could have been live... not positive either way.

And I know it's probably a long shot, but better than nothing.

Hell gives me a chance to go back and listen to all my Adderley albums, I'm not complaining.
