This is my soon to be rig, I'm getting it for graduation present.

Here it is

Guitar

Ibanez RG1570 Guitar (Mirage Blue or Something Black)
Swapping the 2 Humbucker Pick-ups with
-DiMarzio DP158/159 Evolution Bridge Pickup (Still don't know the difference between 158 and 159
-DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro Pickup

Amp

Traynor YCV50 Blue Amp
Swapping the Tubes with JJ Eurotubes
-High gain retube package

Pedals

Ibanez TS9DX FLEXI-4X2 Keeley Mod
Boss DS-1 ULTRA Keeley Mod
VOX V847A Wah Wah
Boss RC-2 Looper

For the Pickups, I'm not too sure if those 2 combo will work well. Keep in mind RG1570 is H-S-H and I don't plan on swapping the Single Coil.

On pedals, I want to run a DS pedal and an OD pedal through the clean channel, also I decided upon V847A seeing how it is a true bypass Wah.

Boss RC-2 Looper, for my pleasure.

Let me know if this setup/rig makes sense, feel free to comment on things I should take out / replace / or add.

Thanks.

Depends on your style - if you're a shredder then they're the dog's bollocks. If you aren't then you probably want to reconsider.

the pickup combo doesnt sound like itll work that well together. i suggest getting something with less output in the bridge. the breed pickups are pretty good for bluesy and metal stuff.

Actually, I MIGHT be able to Swap the Traynor with a Orange Rocker 30 if my store is willing a used one or knock off few bucks.
The only concern is, Orange features, I think it lacks some things I need.
Such as reverb, FX Loop, and some other little features.
I've heard that Rocker 30 and many Pedals don't work too well.
Also, I heard RC-2 should go through FX Loop or it might have some trouble * ?
(I love the look of Orange amp except it feels so damn simple which worries me)

steven seagull - Yeah, I'm really into Satriani, Vai, Gilbert kind of stuff. I tried to choose one pup from Vai, the other from Satriani and Gilbert.

Thanks

If you want an all-round shred combo then your best bets are a pair of Evos, pair of Paf Pros or a Tone Zone/Air Norton combo. TZ/AN is probably the best all-rounder out of the three, posibbly with a Paf Pro in the neck instead depending on the kind of tone you want.
