hello all...

I am looking for an Ibanez guitar that has a decent locking tremolo on it. after all, trying to do that dimebag trem squeal thing wont work on a squire strat...

so i've been looking at some ibanez gutiars...but I remember somewhere that those "Edge III" trems are pieces of feces...any opinions?

Are Edge II's or ZR's better?

I wish i can just find a strat-body guitar with a good locking trem (recessed, so i can pull up on it)...if u got other suggestions, please let me know...

there different. edges have alot more flutter, which is good for some, but the zr being on a ball bearing apposed to a k nife edge, is way smoother, no flutter, and maintains tuning easily. what time used would be similiar to the edge, but the zr will get that alot easier. the only downfall is that zrs only come on the S model guitars, and S's only have 21 or 22 frets, i dont remember, whereas RG's have edges and they have 24 frets and you can get 6-8 strings.
