The Epi Valve Junior? Are they actually good? 5 watts seems pretty.....weak. And only a volume control. Seems to me like you need a lot pedals to get different tones out of it.
#12
5 watts isn't weak. I mean, you won't use it for gigs, but for practice and recording it's just right. And honestly, I don't need much more than a wah pedal when I use it.
#13
Tjats out now?
Ugh.
I have the original MSII. Arent you jealous. S=
It'll be on the bay soon..

Wow, that's not overpriced at all. Epi Valve Jr. > that.

Tone>Wattage

I'd take a nice little tuber over an MG anyday.

And it's more intended for blues and clean stuff, but hey, what are pedals for anyway?

HA!

Nothing beats the 15 Pathfinder Stack.

thats not really universally true, especially if you are playing live.

usually for live music the idea is to strike a balance, theres a reason gigging musicians dont use little 5 watt tube amps to gig with.

^ there is no way im using line 6 on a gig. i'd rather air guitar!
#28
line 6 vettas are quite nice actually, but yeah you can get a better sounding amp for the price of most high wattage line 6 amps that will still cut it at a gig.
