Open G for me. It was my first, I always like trying different ones.

The last one I did was E A E F A E. It sounds brilliant.

open G is useful for slide etc, but stuff like open D7th and B minor and stuff. a bitch to play in, but who doesnt like just strumming across an open board and it sounding that dam good!!

I always quite like the simple Eb/half step down tuning on an acoustic
call me boring but it sounds more naturaly to me than standard

I love open Dsus4 tuning (DADGAD), very fun to play around with. It's the tuning I believe Justin King uses a lot.
