would be good to look into line6 toneport they work really well for recording just playing through and using the effects

audigy 2 zs platinum is the best...and its what i have. i bought from newegg...but i dont think its available on there anymore. here's a link to creative anyways...

the front panel audio addition is great...if you're really into recording and all..its got some midi hookups, optical, and guitar...

its got 7.1 surround sound as well.

you should definately check it out.

well i thought I could get a decent soundcard for the PC aswell as an interface
