im looking for a song that is kind of sad, but not too sad,
sadness that wont make you cry, but make you understand or feel
if that makes sense

preferably a chord song, with relatively easy chords, not those impossible 4 finger and a thumb chords or any that it seems you need extra long fingers to play

if possible: rock or alternative, but im not looking for any eric clapton or johnny cash...

ANY help would be appreciated, even if its just a redirect to another thread...

Hurt is pretty easy, but thats Johnny Cash so I guess thats out.

-Mad World is Gary Jules, and is mostly piano I think.

Yeah... but have you heard it on acoustic? It sounds really good. Not as good as piano, but still great.

i feel horrible for saying this, but All Apologies ~ Nirvana

That's a great song, give me break. Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains, or changes by Black Sabbath or if you're good enough my favorite is Ten Years Gone by Led Zeppelin

I like "Long December" by Counting Crows. Or "Angels" by Black Crowes. "Creep" by Radiohead. Ummm... "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak. "Another Round" by Foo Fighters.

All great great songs, easy to pick up on guitar, all of them have a lot of emotion - in my opinion. Play Angels for a girl and she'll fall in love with you ( If you have the pipes for it ) and Wicked Game will probably make a girl cry haha.
